Technogym Hungary, in cooperation with LOSZ (Lakberendezők Országos Szövetsége), organized a workshop for interior designers. Technogym offers equipment and digital technologies for fitness, sport and health, based in Cesena, Italy.

The participants of the design event had the honour to listen to Cristian Brugnoli (Architecture and Interior Design Director - Technogym, Italy) and his inspiring talk, prefaced by an introduction from Junttila Risto, the owner of the Hungarian exclusive distributor company - FinnWellness Kft.

Fitting the brand, the guests were seated not on ordinary chairs, but the iconic Wellness Ball Active Sitting® of Technogym, which resulted in a fun conversation starter.

In his presentation Brugnoli gave insights into some of the exciting Technogym projects. From the Technogym Village in Italy, to the Philippe Starck-designed Lily of the Valley hotel, to Soho House Amsterdam - always staying mindful to break the frontiers between fitness and furniture..

Technogym, operating since over 40 years, aims at fitness clubs, corporate, hospitality, and residential projects. Technogym is a 360-lifestyle design company, Brugnoli emphasized, wellness must be the core part of every project. The main problem of humanity is moving too little because of lack of motivation. The trend is changing though: It is moving towards fitness becoming ever more important. Whereas earlier the gym and wellness room were crammed in a leftover room at the end of the design process, now at the beginning of the project the wellness room is taken into consideration and is equally important to the other aspects of the building. This also becomes clear when looking at hotel gyms, that are gaining importance and are moved from the basement to a more prominent spot, like the top floor.

Technogym also offers an Interior Design Service to support the work of interior designers and architects. The inhouse designers provide crucial information, guidelines and planning support, starting with lighting and layouts, all the way through to the final render pictures, curated at the maximum. Additionally, 3D models can be accessed through the dedicated page.
